The Dana Foundation supports Arizona State University for the Barbara Gill Civic Science Fellowship, which sponsors an emerging thought leader to develop new models for bidirectional public engagement on emerging neuroethics issues. The National Informal STEM Education (NISE) Network at Arizona State University hosts the Fellow. 

The Foundation’s support advances “Changing Brains,” an evolving NISE Network project empowering public and professional audiences to experience, discuss, and reflect on personal, community, and societal connections to advancing brain research and related technologies. Outcomes include creating a new, evidence-based collection of public engagement and professional development resources about the brain, neuroscience, and neuroethics, and testing and sharing these models at different sites across the United States.
