Belgian neuroscientist Roland Pochet is a Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives member who was awarded the Dana/EDAB Special Lifetime Achievement Award for Outreach on Behalf of Brain Research at the 2018 FENS Forum. He has participated in #BrainWeek for more than 20 years, organizing events around the country, including the European Parliament.
Dana Foundation Announces Caroline Montojo, Ph.D., as New President
The Dana Foundation has named Caroline Montojo, Ph.D., as its next president, effective March 1, 2021. Dr. Montojo is currently the director of Life Sciences and the director of Brain Initiatives at The Kavli Foundation.
Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives Elects Twenty New Members
The executive committee of the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives announced the names of twenty members newly elected to the organization. Research interests among new members are broad, including brain evolution, the effects of poverty on mental health, imaging genomics, and olfaction.
