I felt a flurry of warm fuzzies at the sight of all the Dana Press and Dana Alliances books and publications at the booth for the European Dana Alliance for the Brain last week during the FENS Forum meeting in Geneva. Part of our mission is to spread the word on advances in brain science, and here already was our new 2008 Progress Report in German, French, Spanish and Italian, with the Flemish version coming soon.
Thanks to our colleagues in the Dana Alliances’ offices in New York and London, and especially Beatrice Roth in Switzerland, most of our brochures and pamphlets are available in multiple languages and downloadable. You can find many of them on the EDAB site; just click the flags in the top-right corner for the language you seek.
The EDAB booth, just off the escalators to the second floor at the Palexpo convention center, was one of the first things the 5,000-some neuroscience junkies saw as they entered the main section of the forum. We couldn’t have asked for better product placement.
