Center for Arts Education - 2002

Funded in March, 2002: $35000 for 1 years
The Center for Arts Education is a granting organization that aims to put the arts back in the New York City Public Schools. The Dana Foundation grant will fund "Looking at Student Work," a program which uses student outcomes to assess the success and impact of arts integration. Teams of artists and classroom teachers will learn how to assess student work in the arts and develop shared goals, standards and common language for improved instruction.
