to anita & linda and anyone else you may have lyme disease. i have been exactly where you are, and doctors not knowing or explaining anything! i have abnormal signals, speech, language, cognitive and on and on!! i also passed lyme on to my 3 children and all of them have most of the same issues i do. i beg you to PLEASE GET TESTED FOR LYME & CO INFECTIONS....AT LEAST LYME FIRST!! MAKE SURE YOU ARE TESTED AT IGENEX IN CALIF......THEIR TESTS ARE MORE SENSITIVE THAN THE STANDARD TESTS YOUR DOCTOR OR ANY MAIN STREAM DOCTOR WILL HAVE,and those tests miss at least 45% of positive lyme cases!! THOUGH YOUR DOC WILL TELL YOU DIFFERENT. your doctor will not know about lyme, he's misinformed by the IDSA...infectious disease society of ameerica. if you don't believe me, research lyme. over 50% of lyme positive patients, don't recall a tick bite and between 30-50% never get a bull's eye rash. i truly pray you will at least consider what i'm telling you!! Good luck and God bless......to better health!! please feel free to email me if you have any questions.

To all but especially um sadd. After thousands of dollars on test by "advance university hospital" no one can explain why I lost my vision in one eye and one ear at different times within a few months. My family has all these same range of illness. I found a sight that may have answers. They have found a gene that may have something to do with autism, schiz,. bi-polar disorder, ADD and ADHD as well as miscarriages and other clotting issues. Check it out please: MTHFR.com. Simple cheap blood test will tell you if you have gene disorder and there is treatment if you do. It is about the B vitamins, especially B-12. I have the gene but I just have one. If you have two it is extremely powerful negative impact and can cause all these disorders. Treatment of major vitamins not available at your drug store can resolve many of these issues. Please check it out. New. Doctors do not even seem to know about it. The doc on this site is begging doctors to pay attention. Go now and be your own advocate.

I have had many signs and symptoms of MS, 2 drs thinking MS, but neuro says no! I need help figuring out what is wrong with me. Had MRI in '06 and it only showed a spot on back or head from childhood injury. Recently had another MRI and it show ovoid plaques in/on left and right frontal lobes and sinus mucosal thickening. MRA, negative EEG, negative spinal tap, negative bloodwork, negative My neuro says she thinks everything that is wrong with me is due to my fibromyalgia and that I'm just going to have to learn to "deal" with it! Does fibro cause plaques?? My dizziness has become so unbearable and all I want to do is sleep. It is to the point that if I don't lay down, I feel like I'll just fall over. I also suffer with extreme memory loss...I hardly remember any of my past until someone talks about it and then I might remember something. This has been going on since '05, 2 drs think MS but 2 neuros say no...any help would be greatly appreciated...thank you.

My niece has white brain matter loss. They told her there is no research or treatment at all, therefore this will be fatal. Your artcle was very well put but is there anything being done about this?
