My husband has brain cancer for 19 years and he has had 7 surgeries for the astrocitoma that attacks him. The lst surgery in dec 2011 has left him short of memory as the tumor ate part of it. Since he is a warrior in this lead I am much interested in contacting a doctor that can help me help him recover his brain. he is now 68 years old. Specially would love to get in contact with Dr. John Davis. We life in Lima, Peru southamerica . thsk Elena

Articles posted by the Dana Foundation are of great interest to many people, including myself. Regretably, this article on brain plasticity fails to mention the growing scientific study and clinical use of neurofeedback. Neurofeedback directly trains EEG signals, resulting in durable plastic changes in brain function, that have important implications for our understanding of how the brain organizes information for specific task performance, and for ameliorating clinical burden. Neurofeedback, together with fMRI feedback, and other neuromodulation techniques (e.g., rTMS, TDS) offer much to brain science and clinical care. Please consider an article on neurofeedback, a topic that your readers will find of great interest.
