 I just read the article with extreme sadness because I can so relate. My 17 year old son took his life ten months ago. We were bewildered. After his death we found an essay on this laptop that he had submitted via email to his English teacher called "She loves me not". In this essay he immediately says he wants to kill himself and outlines how he is going to do and why. It is bone- chilling to read. We cannot understand why the teacher never told us. This assignment would have given us insight of his anguish that he masked so well. We could have helped him. We miss him so much and would not wish this on our worst enemy. We want to turn this negative event into a positive teaching tool for teachers and parents. We are not letting go.
