 I find it very interesting to hear that pain could be looked at a disease of the nervous system. I am looking forward to the day that there is a medicine that can fully relieve me of mine and not interfere with my cognitive abilities. I have a medical illness that causes chronic widespread pain, and I have been taking gabapentin for 2 years now and it becomes less and less effective over time. I also take other medications for my illness.
