 I have to say that reading Diane Ackerman's writings is amazing. I am transported and gain new insights-especially into memory, of which I am quite obsessed. My mother got Alzheimers in her early 60's, and my sisters and I are in our mid 40's and nervous. But reading her writing, most of all, inspires me to write. I am writing essays about mom. So thank you for the insight and the inspiration.
