When Doctors Give Up Hope.
Kelly Casey

My boyfriend of 6.5 years and father of my five yr old and six month old girls was in a horrible car accident on 09/09/09. He has since been in a coma. In the beginning the doctors were his biggest supporters saying they felt he was going to wake up and there was no evidence why he wouldn't. Now because he hasn't woke in the alotted time they are given up on him. The hospital doesn't do anything to keep his brain stimulated. He has had SEVERAL infections that are actually soil and water based bacteria so unless he is running outside at night to play in the dirt how is this happening. Where can we turn to get him the help in Florida he needs so that he has a fair chance at life.

i read your artical and agree with what you say. my son is a patient at gardenvilla in bedford IN in a rehab program that is at best an average program and we feel that we have to fight all the time to get proper rehab. if ther is any that you could help them to up their game with more education, a phone call, a meeting it would be very helpful. not only to my son but other people as well thanks gardenvilla 1-812-277-3766 head therapists, dana, meridith and mildred

It's good to see someone finally attempting to include states of consciousness in the unconscious condition
