The Dana Foundation Program in
The Neuroimmunology of Brain Infections and Cancers

Please note that there will be no soliciation in 2012.

The Foundation has been pleased to stimulate advances in neuroimmunology, and now concentrates its support for this field primarily through the Brain and Immuno-imaging program.

The Feb. 28, 2012 noon call for the Brain and Immuno-imaging proposals will be the Foundation's only RFP for 2012.

The Neuroimmunology Program focused on brain infections and cancers. Specifically, we invited studies of 1) immune-based therapies for primary brain tumors, and for metastases to the brain of other cancers; 2) immune responses to infections in the brain, including but not limited to viral encephalitis, meningitis, cerebral malaria, and prion diseases, and 3) how the immune system affects the brain and how the brain modifies immune function.
