Matt Ridley

Matt Ridley is chairman of the International Centre for Life, a science park in Newcastle, England, and is also visiting professor at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, New York. Trained in zoology, he is a British newspaper columnist, the former editor of Economist magazine, and the author of four books, including the best-selling Genome: The Autobiography of a Species in 23 Chapters (HarperCollins, 1999).
