Theatre for a New Audience - 2003

Funded in March, 2003: $65000 for 2 years
The Dana Foundation grant will support a pilot project to expand the teacher training associated with the Theatre's World Theatre Project, which brings classical theatre into NYC public schools. New initiatives will include forming a company of artists committed to the program for its full term, increasing their pay, tripling training hours, hiring a new Education Director, and creating more numerous opportunities for artists and teachers to work together. At the end of two years, the program will be evaluated for effectiveness.
