Theatre for a New Audience - 2005

Funded in March, 2005: $70000 for 2 years
The Dana Foundation grant will enable Theatre for a New Audience to expand its World Theatre Program, and to enable TFANA to increase the effectiveness of teaching artists in integrating its arts programs with City and State Learning Standards in English Language Arts. The grant will also be used to apply the success of the World Theatre Program model to their New Voices Program, a 13-week playwriting program in which NYC Public School students write their own one-act plays with playwrights in classroom residence and study a classic play they see produced at TFANA.
