Shakespeare Theatre Company - 2006

Funded in March, 2006: $35000 for 1 years
The Dana Foundation will continue to support the development and refinement of the Teaching Artist Training (TAT) Program for national dissemination. The TAT program is a professional development initiative collaboratively developed by education professionals, teaching artists and education directors from the Shakespeare Theatre Company, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and Seattle Repertory Theatre. TAT intends to increase the capacity of teaching theatre artists working in schools and community-based organizations. As currently designed, TAT will provide comprehensive training to both inexperienced and master teaching artists.
