The Dana Foundation funded "Making Connections: Movement, Performance, and Learning," a pilot project in performing arts education professional development for educators and teaching artists. The curriculum was developed to meet the needs of rural New Mexico schools. The project consisted of sessions held over two consecutive summers. Each summer offered two four-day workshops to provide professional development in dance, theater, and music for arts specialists, teaching artists and classroom teachers from rural New Mexico school districts.
