Rebecca Jordan-Young, Ph.D.

Rebecca Jordan-Young, Ph.D., is Tow Associate Professor and chair of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Barnard College, Columbia University.  The author of Brain Storm: The flaws in the science of sex differences, she has published on sex, gender, and health in such venues as BMJ, Trends in Cognitive Sciences, Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, Neuroethics, and Nature. Jordan-Young holds a Ph.D. in sociomedical sciences from Columbia University and has held visiting appointments at the Cognitive Neuroscience Division of the International School for Advanced Studies in Trieste, Italy, and at the Institute for Gender Studies at Radboud University, The Netherlands.
