Marie Kirk Marie Kirk, Ph.D., is a postdoc at the Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences at Aarhus University, Denmark. She holds a master of cognitive neuroscience from University of York and a master of psychology from Aarhus University, where she also obtained her Ph.D. As a psychologist and cognitive scientist, she investigates the cognitive mechanisms of autobiographical remembering, and is particularly interested in understanding how dementia compromises the ability to remember one’s personal past.
